South African Qualification and Certification Committee - Gas
SAQCC Gas is a section 21 company that has been setup by the Member Associations to create and maintain a central database that will contain registered skills and qualification details of their members. The Member Associations are:
- SARACCA - South African Refrigeration & Air Conditioning Contractors Association
- LPGASASA - Liquefied Petroleum Gas Safety Association of Southern Africa
- SACGA - Southern Africa Compressed Gases Association
- SAPGA - South African Pipeline Gas Association
Each Association is responsible for checking the appropriate qualification levels of applicants applicable to their Association. Accepted members are then forwarded to SAQCC for inclusion in the national database. Provision has been made to allow an Authorised Gas Practitioner to be a member of more than one association.
This database is now available online at this website for you to find a qualified Gas Practitioner or to check the credentials of persons that are offering to provide services for your project.
